NOTE : All bolts should be hand tightened only, until step 6 is complete

  1. LEG ASSEMBLY:
    a) Assemble the adjustable foot (#1) to the leg upright (#2) using the 1/2" bolt, nut, washer and channel assembly (#A)
    b) Assemble the top rail (#6) and the bottom rail (#3) to the leg upright (#2) using the 5/16" bolt, nut and washer assembly (#B)
    c) In case of a 78" wide table, install the center leg to the top and bottom rail.

  2. APRON ASSEMBLY:
    a) Assemble the aprons (#7) to the leg assembly using the 5/16" nut, bolt and washer assembly.

  3. BRACE ASSEMBLY:
    a) Install angle bracees (#4) and straight braces (#5) to the frame using the 5/16" bolt, nut and washer assembly.

  4. END ASSEMBLY:
    a) Assemble both ends of the table using the left (#8) and the right (#8) end aprons, the end rail (#9) and the left (#10) and right (#10) end braces.

  5. LEVEL THE TABLE:
    a) Adjust the end sections to the desired height, usually 35 1/2".
    b) Run a plumb line between the two ends along the top rail (#6) using a tape measure for the near side and a level for the far side and adjust all other legs to the same height.

  6. INSTALLATION OF TABLE TOPS:
    a) Place all panels into the hand tightened frame assembly starting at the center.
    b) Insert biscuits (#11) into precut slots between panels.
    c) When all panels are in place, tighten the center panel first by using the 3/4" wood screws along the apron (#7). When all the panels are secured along the aprons, use the 3/4" wood screws to anchor the panels across the top rail (#6). Use shims in order to ensure even height.

  7. FINISHING:
    a) Tighten the entire frame now, using a level to make sure that the leg uprights are straight.
    b) If desired, use plastic wood to fill any cracks and smooth the resulting areas with sand paper.
    c) Check the entire frame carefully and smooth any sharp corners with a file.
